Macau Trip & Zhu Hai Trip (First Trip) - Day 4

Early this morning, my sis's cute little doggy came to our room to wake us up. I'm pretty excited as we were going for a day trip to Zhu Hai today, tagging along with my bro-in-law who's going there for some work purposes.

Before heading to Zhu Hai, we went to Grand Waldo Hotel for dim sum. I should have admitted that I'm a lousy foodie as most of the time I forgot to list down the prices of the food.

Crystal Dumpling

Thin and transparent skin wrapped with minced pork, prawn and vegetables. It was really good! Juicy fillings which tasted really fresh.

Cheung Fun with Char Siu

The Cheung Fun with Char Siu was a little bit oily but quite delicious. The wide rice noodle was filled with lots of sweetened Char Siu.

Porridge with pork and egg

The porridge was smooth and flavourful. It comes with lots of pork, egg and yau char kui. Served hot. Love it!

Siu Mai

Siu Mai is one of the must-have dim sum for me. Steamed pork dumpling topped with crab roe. Simply delicious.

Steamed Pork Rib

The pork rib was meaty and quite leaned. It was steamed with black bean and chili. The taste was very mild but tasted really good.

Hooray!! It is time to go for a day trip to Zhu Hai!! We took a bus from Macau to Zhu Hai. Everything was settled by my bro-in-law and I just followed like a lost sheep.

My bro-in-law brought us to one of the famous restaurant in Zhu Hai for some nice food. The restaurant setting was quite special and the food were nice.

Grilled Lamb

The Grilled Lamb was one of my bro-in-law's favourite dish. The marination was very good and the lamb meat was juicy and tender.

Colourful Jiaozi

Their signature dish is the Colourful Jiaozi. The colourful dumpling skins was made by different types of ingredients. Just like the normal dumplings, it was filled with minced pork.

Stir-fried vegetables

Mother-in-law Stewed Chicken with Mushroom, Pork Meat

Mother-in-law Stewed Chicken is actually glass noodle cooked with stewed chicken and mushroom.  The glass noodle had absorbed the gravy of the stewed chicken and it tasted so good. A healthy yet scrumptious meal.

Zanjia Hand-mashed Eggplant

Zanjia Hand-mashed Eggplant is one of the traditional dish that they serves. It is rich in vitamins and in Traditional medicine, it is a cheap but helpful herb.
