Seventh Instalment Features Over 35 Global Artists to Enliven the Historic City of Melaka. The world’s largest and only site-specific art and performance festival on a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Melaka Art and Performance Festival (MAPFest), returns to Melaka for its seventh instalment from 27 to 29 November 2015. More than 35 local and international artists will muster around the vicinity of St. Paul’s Hill and transform the heritage city into a piece of art. The 3-day festival is a free and accessible event for all.

Eclectic Ecstatic Community Art Night Returns

The second installation of Eclectic Ecstatic, a successful community art night returns at El Centro. The theme of the event was ‘Art Heals.’ One of the main highlight was award-winning local naïve artist, Awang Fadilah and the Sabah Naïve Art Group. Over 50 of their artworks graced the walls of El Centro adding vibrant colours and unique visuals to the space of the event. These artworks will be on display for a month at El Centro and are available for sale.

Exhibition Fusing Different Forms of Art, Kota Kinabalu

For the first time in Sabah, the opening of an art exhibition combined five (5) different forms of art: painting, dance, music, hair and makeup, plus food. This is the sixth art exhibition organized by Contagious Creative Agency at South Sea Sanctuary in Kampung Air. Entitled “Free Range”, the event showcased the work of international artists Ganna Sorokina from Ukraine and Mathieu Cambier from France.
