When you step inside a restaurant that is the winner of the World Champion Pizza Maker, there is no question of a doubt, one would feel almost intimidated, consuming food that are meant for demigods, or at least fit for the greatest emperor Caesar. So we were a bit surprised to say the least at how humble and cosy this place is, which is good news for us mere mortals, and travelers at that.

Italian is the fifth most identified ancestry in Australia according to wikipedia, and their influence is perhaps most evident in their food, with many Italian restaurants lining the streets of Australia, not to mention the vast winery dotting the country side. We are thankful that proud Australians though they may be, still retain that wonderful culinary skills that are comparable to their comrades back in Italy. One such restaurant that we were lucky to dine in was Sandrino.

The market was first built in 1897, with 150 shops for craftspeople, fashion designers, and merchants in the historic Hall, and fresh food producers, vegetable growers and food retailers in The Yard. The Markets are typically open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and are a popular Fremantle tourist destination.
