In collaboration with French liqueur brand St- Germain, Lobby Lounge at Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel will present an exquisite ‘Elderflower Blossom Afternoon Tea’, from 7 November 2019 to 6 January 2020. Made with the delicate elderflower, St-Germain is the world’s first artisanal liqueur, each bottle using up to a thousand freshly picked elderflower blossoms. Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel’s talented pastry chef has blended the renowned liqueur with French inspiration, for the ‘Elderflower Blossom Afternoon Tea’ with 10 sweet items and four tea sandwiches.

An adventurous spirit is often rewarded. Take Japanese whisky as an example: it’s a happy enigma connoisseurs can’t get enough of. The marriage between Scotch techniques and Japan’s pure natural resources manifests how a strong tradition sometimes thrives even more in a foreign environment. Conrad Hong Kong brings this coveted beverage to a new frontier, as Lobby Lounge will host an afternoon tea featuring Chivas Mizunara, which puts a spin on Japanese whisky itself. A line-up of luscious Japanese-inspired food items highlighting the characters of the liquor will give the guests a brand new experience.

Afternoon tea used to be a formality reserved for the wealthy, but living in the modern time allows us to use a bit of imagination and creativity to turn the everyday teatime into a wonderful experience. In collaboration with PAPINEE, the global Children's Storytelling Social Enterprise, Conrad Hong Kong will take guests on a magical adventure from 9 May to 30 June. Based on the brand’s story and the PAPINEE Horse - Rus, hotel executive chef Claudio Rossi and pastry chef Billy Yuen has created an array of French pastries and snacks whimsical as those in the tea parties of a fairytale.

Christmas Afternoon Tea will be served at the Lobby Lounge, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 1 to 31 December, 3pm to 6pm daily. The treats for tea feature festive items, both sweet and savoury, and are presented in a tiered tray. The savoury treats include Maine Lobster Salad in Brioche, Honey Glazed Turkey with Cranberry Chutney and Saffron Roll, Salmon Rillette with Crostini and Ikura, Smoked Duck with Sweet Onion Jam Tartlet and Creamy Veal and Cep Mushroom Pie.
