Show me a man who's worked 16 hours a day since 1972, and I'll show you Topolino's restaurant. I honestly can't pull a nine to five without spending 6 hours on facebook in the office, but hey, that's why my lazy ass doesn't have a fine Italian restaurant that is rated at least 4 stars by all online polls. This humble looking restaurant opens 4pm till late on Mon to Wed and 12pm till very very late on Thurs to Sun.

Huge Cafe, is actually a small eatery, located at the corner of Damai plaza, nearest to Glory Church. The namesake derives from its huge burgers, so huge that Adam Richman would himself throw down the towel, well, maybe not really, but he'll come close. Being big eater’s we relish at the invitation to review this restaurant.

Red Place @ Penampang

Tucked in a corner of Towering, lies an unassuming yet cosy little eatery called the Red place. At first glance, one could be forgiven for expecting Chinese dishes on the menu, not least judging from its namesake. It is at this warm friendly place, that a bunch of lens totting, QWERTY pounding young people were invited to feast on their interpretation of how food are made in the west.

Impromptu Cafe @ Menara Hap Seng

Image
If there’s one thing I love about Italian food, it has to be the pastas – all forms of pastas be it spaghetti, linguine, fettuccine, ravioli or gnocchi. But what I love more than dry pastas are fresh, hand-made pastas! The feeling of watching someone making the dough, rolling it, cutting it and finally cooking it right in front of your eyes is just exhilarating. There are not many places in KL that offer fresh, hand-made pastas – Impromptu Cafe is one of them. Located in Menara Hap Seng, this new and hip cafe offer plenty of choices of hand-made pastas with various creative sauces. Dining at Impromptu was certainly an enjoyable affair, with its comfortable environment that was both casual and unpretentious. Best of all, the prices here are so pocket-friendly.
