A run to support the cause of the learning disabled will be held on June 16th at Central Park Bandar Utama. Organised by Dignity & Services, a non profit organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities, the run themed “Everyone Can Run” has three categories namely 2km (a new category this year), 5km and 10km.

You Only Live Once (YOLO), Singapore’s reputed run event will happen in Bangkok, Thailand on 10 September 2017. After two successful years in Singapore with 3,000 participants in 2015 and 9,000 participants in 2016, the inaugural YOLO Run BKK will take off at the King Rama IX Park with 5KM and 10KM category options. Gran Fondo New York (GFNY), a global cycling marathon series continue to expand its portfolio to Malaysia for the first time ever. With a total 14 races next year, GFNY Malaysia has been announced as the fifth GFNY race in 2017, after GFNY Mexico City on March 26. The race will be opened for all levels from amateur to professional. With a tagline of ‘Be A Pro For A Day’, GFNY aims on giving everyone the experiences of cycling like a pro in a global bicycle marathon.

McDonald’s Malaysia hosted a live audition session for McDonald’s Storytelling Contest in the central region at McDonald’s Mutiara Damansara and McDonald’s Sec 3 Shah Alam. As part of its nationwide tour, the shortlisted participants for the live auditions were selected from hundreds of Instagram video entries. Held for the first time ever on a big scale by McDonald’s Malaysia, the contest offers up to RM70,000.00 worth of prizes to be won including a family holiday to Warner Bros Movie World theme park in Australia as the grand prize.
