McDonald’s Malaysia celebrated the grand opening of its latest restaurant in Negeri Sembilan, located at Kuala Pilah. This marks the quick-service restaurant chain’s first foray into the district. “We are excited to be here today to celebrate the grand opening of the first ever McDonald’s outlet in Kuala Pilah. We see Kuala Pilah as a prime location within the state, which will allow us to extend our hospitality to connect with more Malaysians and provide our customers with feel good moments,” said Azmir Jaafar, Managing Director and Local Operating Partner of McDonald’s Malaysia.

McDonald’s Malaysia and Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia launched the “Back-to-School” 2019 programme today, which marks the third year for the programme. This year, 30,000 primary school children nationwide will receive “Back-to-School” packs to give them the motivation and the drive to study hard when attending school. Through its ‘Scale for Good’ strategy - where McDonald’s leverages the strength of its brand to create a positive impact on communities, societies, and the planet, RM3 million was successfully raised under this programme this year to ease the financial burdens of low-income as well as urban poor families ahead of the upcoming school year.
