Lido Food Court @ Lido

Image
Pan Mee at Lido is one of our personal favourite of all times. Known as Kedai Kopi (Pan Mien) Lido, the stall open early in the morning catering to market goers, while during the evening, they caters to foodies who want to savour in cheap hawker's food.

Food City @ Kolombong

Although this place we are reviewing today needs to introduction already. Nonetheless, the partners operating this food court has graciously extended their invitation to the team. Of course we were more than happy to oblige as there are a few minor facelift since we last visited this food court.

ABC and Cendul Malacca @ Taman OUG

Image
ABC and Cendul Malacca @ OUG Night Market (Every Thursday) Rating: 3.5/5 Menu and Price list Everytime I saw the long queue over this stall I decided to walk away, but tonight I really wanted to try it out so I order and wait for my ABC patiently. The owner working non stop from the moment the ABC stall open, good business though. ABC, RM3.50 Ok, tasted not bad, worth my time for queueing up, not much ingredient but nicely flavour with gula Melaka, Carnation milk and sugar syrup Luk Luk, RM6.40 Stuffing Taufu, Beancurd Skin and Fishball, you know what I like most are the sweet bean sauce Popiah, RM3.60 Lots of fried stuff, nice popiah skin and most important, very nice sweet sauce.

Ariefah Curry House & 66 Snack House @ Lintas

Image
Ariefah Curry House Location: Opposite Kedai Kopi Kah Hiong $$ Ratings: Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 2.5/5 Teh-O and Teh-C Iced Ariefah Curry House used to be Jack's favourite hangout spot. Most of the time, after our Saturday's night movie, Jack will hangout with his friends at Ariefah Curry House with a plate of Roti Canai and a glass of Teh-C Iced. Ayam Goreng RM3.50 When you ordered the Ayam Goreng, they will warm-it-up for you. It was one of Jack's favourite order. The crispy skin had mild curry's flavour. It tasted a little salty on its own, so, no additional sauce was needed. Roti Canai Needless to say, Roti Canai is one of Malaysian's favourite. The Roti Canai here was not bad. Some parts of the Roti Canai is crunchy and some parts had the chewy texture. Goes well with Curry sauce or Dhaal. Roti Cobra RM4.50 It was my first attempt trying the Roti Cobra. Actually, I had no idea about Roti Cobra. Turn out, it was good. Roti Canai served with F...

Penang Fried Koay Teow, Tanjung Aru Plaza Food Court & Tanjung Aru Beach

Image
We had been to Tanjung Aru Plaza Food Court for numerous time. So, I decided to change the way of the food ratings this time around. Our first plan was to avoid the Mooncake Festival's crowds at Chinese restaurant and at the same time try a new burger's stall at Tanjung Aru, apart from the normal Big Mouth Burger we had. Unfortunately, the stall was not open. Hence, I had to look for something else to eat while Jack went back for his favourite Big Mouth Burger. Penang Fried Koay Teow RM5.00 Unexpectedly, the Penang Fried Koay Teow from D'Aru's stall was the 'wet' type which we can rarely find, even in KL. By looking at the 'fierce fire' used while frying the noodle, it should be promising enough to assure me that it gonna be good. Fragrantly good and rich in prawns and cockle's flavour. The sweet and savoury gravy was so flavourful and goes really well with the Koay Teow. If I'm not wrong, the noodle was cooked with some prawn's broth and t...
