If you have ever harboured a dream to be spoiled by a dedicated staff of butlers and waiters, whilst dining in a luxurious restaurant with a breathtaking vista to match, you should make the time to make reservations for a stay at e18hteen. This outstanding establishment is perhaps Resorts World Genting’s crowning jewel to date, a glittering restaurant set in the skies with floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of the surrounding highland countryside. They have an open kitchen, where you can see various chefs in their industry and staff stand attentively and discreetly to one side ready to satisfy your every whim. It is an incredible place to just relax, and the equanimous atmosphere just sets the mind in ease.

Today I want to write about pizza. When it comes to pizza, there is really no hard and fast rule as to what makes the best pizza. I spent the last decade trying out pizzas everywhere with friends, and let me tell you, everyone has a different thing that makes it work for them.

Tan Sri Dato' Michelle Yeoh, Dato’ Nancy Yeoh and Hong Kong actors Simon Yam, Wayne Lai, Niki Chow and Eric Tsang are among the big names who will add glitter to the prestigious Miss Chinese International Pageant 2017. The pageant, set to take place outside Hong Kong for the very first time, will be held at Resorts World Genting on 15 January 2017, 8.30pm.

Everydayfoodilove.co was given the opportunity to travel to Genting Highlands recently to visit and see first hand SkyAvenue, the latest attraction to join the ranks of Resorts World Genting in the popular highland resort. And yet, there must be hundreds of Cafés out there, so what makes this one different from the others? I will tell you. It is a Parisian Dream come true.

Our tale begins in the year 2011 in Moscow, on a rooftop where a bunch of young Russians mates were quaffing wine, for what better place can you think of to drink with near exclusivity, with a great view of the capital? During the merrymaking, as the usual wont of young energetic people charged with drink, we suppose merry words were bandied back and forth in jest. It was during this that a brainchild was born; why not set up a restaurant which specialised in one main ingredient only? It was not a bad idea, having been done before repeatedly with varying degrees of success, but does the world need yet another restaurant that offers chicken?

Mention Malaysia’s Favourite Mountain Resort and you will almost certainly be answered with Genting Highlands. Undisputedly acknowledged as a favourite holiday destination for those in the Klang Valley, it is just a short hour's’ drive from the city center and has been around for literally generations. The entire place is run and managed by Resorts World Genting and sports many wonderful attractions both old and new. There is in fact enough material to write about worthy of a guidebook, but in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year, we are going to relate our experience visiting the Genting Palace, a chinese restaurant that serves Cantonese or Yuècài (粤菜) cuisine.
