PETRA Cucina, officially opened the doors to its flagship outlet, Roberto’s 1020 Osteria (Roberto’s) in Bangsar Shopping Centre today. The restaurant aspires to bring high-end casual Tuscan dining experience to lovers of Italian cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. Officiated by the Italian Ambassador, H.E. Portofino Ristorante Italiano invited Everydayfoodilove.co recently to wine tasting event on the 4th of October 2016. Show me a man who's worked 16 hours a day since 1972, and I'll show you Topolino's restaurant. I honestly can't pull a nine to five without spending 6 hours on facebook in the office, but hey, that's why my lazy ass doesn't have a fine Italian restaurant that is rated at least 4 stars by all online polls. This humble looking restaurant opens 4pm till late on Mon to Wed and 12pm till very very late on Thurs to Sun.

It has been more than a year since our last visit to Oriental Cafe (of the hotel with the same namesake). Judging from the many diners and packed dinner hall, this establishment has shed it's previous reputation as a place of 'last resort' and, judging from the food, has certainly risen to the ranks of 'must-go-to' place. Not to mention the inflation busting prices (even before Groupon discount!)

Wood-fired oven is commonly known to be used for baking pizza but the culinary team at Villa Danieli proves that it can do much more than that! The Director of Culinary, Restaurant and Bar, Rajesh Kanna and his team invite you to dine like a true Italian with authentic specialties cooked fresh from the wood-fired oven. A wood-fired oven is typically heated only once during the firing stage, unlike modern household gas or electric oven that provides an almost constant temperature. After the coals are removed, the oven’s temperature gradually decreases over a period of hours or even days. The retained heat in the oven may be used to bake multiple batches of food. Alternatively, foods requiring different temperatures can be cooked in series as the temperature of the oven falls.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere with tables on the sidewalk with jazz playing music and candles on the tables. It's very convenient and easy to locate this place if you're staying around Roma Termini area. It's a super busy restaurant, please be ready for a little wait. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner,  at lunch hours, you can order some set lunch which is more value for money. They serves up some good pizza and pasta with a friendly services.

If you are looking for a simple and good value Roman trattoria, this is likely one of it, located close to Terminal Station and hotels in Rome. You wont be let down by staff and food at Capitello, nice small Italian restaurant with fantastic home made pizzas at a reasonable price.
