6 March 2020 I have always liked spending time high up in Genting Highlands. Six thousand feet above sea level is a good place to just literally chill and get some clean air far from the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur city life. And let us admit, I would do much to get away from crowds. If like me, you would like to cultivate some personal space away from your home, why not head over to this other side of Genting for a stay-cation?

Genting Highlands, 25 December 2019 – Tis’ the season of love, giving and magic; that’s exactly what Al McKay’s Earth, Wind & Fire Experience gave to their Malaysian fans at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting as they performed an incredible set list of Earth, Wind & Fire hits on Christmas Eve last night. The band created a remarkable Christmas atmosphere that turned Arena of Stars into a disco-like stadium with thousands of fans moving their feet and throwing their hands in the air.

Genting Highlands, 18th January 2018 - Resorts World Genting has breathed new life into its indoor entertainment space, creating the new Skytropolis Funland that was soft opened in December last year after closing for nearly one and a half years. Since the opening, it has attracted thousands of visitors to the resort. Needless to say, this newly revamped indoor theme park is a portal to a new dimension of fun, which will take guests on thrilling adventures and adrenaline-packed rides. From its entrance with actual moving gears, to the thousands of colourful light bulbs that deck out each ride, every inch of the indoor theme park promises extreme fun.

Genting Highlands, 19th January 2018 - The exciting experience of watching a cinematic masterpiece 6,000 feet above sea level has just gotten a huge adrenaline boost. Bona Cinemas in Resorts World Genting introduced two new experiences on 1 December 2018 that will allow audiences to immerse themselves even further inside the thrilling realm of motion pictures, adding IMAX and Gold Class with D-BOX halls to its gilded cineplex in the heart of SkyAvenue mall. 

Genting Highlands, 9 December 2018 – It was a day of magic and merriment as Resorts World Genting recently hosted over 300 underprivileged children from 10 homes to a Harry Potter-themed Christmas Party. In keeping with the season of caring and sharing, the children were treated to a delicious Christmas lunch, a magic show, a song-and-dance performance and a showing of Dora the Explorer LIVE! Sometime ago, I had the opportunity to try a new restaurant at the SkyAvenue , up here in Resorts World Genting. The feedback I have been getting about the makeover for the resort is relatively mixed, but everyone agrees that it is so much different (and generally for the better) now than it was years ago.

HEY FANS of John Legend! Remember I announced sometime back that the critically acclaimed Grammy Award winning singer will be touring Malaysia as part of the Darkness & Light Tour 2018! And he will be performing at Resorts World Genting on the 17th March 2018. 

Fans, I am quite certain that most of you know who is John Legend. Well, word is that the critically acclaimed Grammy Award winning singer will be touring Malaysia as part of the Darkness & Light Tour 2018! And he will be performing at Resorts World Genting on the 17th March 2018. 

This restaurant is one of my favourite places to visit at Resorts World Genting! When enjoying the cool clime of the City in the Clouds, nothing beats having spicy food and good drink at the same time. I especially love it at night, when the place is a little foggy and you can focus on the food and the discussion at your table without breaking a sweat. You really have to visit this place during the day and at night to understand what I am writing about.

You may remember, my last visit to the Genting International Showroom was to catch the live-stage performance of Soul of Shaolin: Hui Guang's Story. Well, that show is now long over, the latest show is now here and it's called Adventures of the Monkey King : The Golden Hooped Rod , performed by the  The Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe.

A dynamic show awaits by the Cantopop superstars this 3 1 December 2017 to usher in the New Year!  The beauty of life celebrated through music is what Grasshopper's upcoming concert at Resorts World Genting is all about—and the Cantopop stars are sure to impress with their musical delivery.

Resorts World Genting  has long been known as a steadfast patron of the Fine Arts. And the latest attraction to grace the resort is  SeniKome Péng Hēng , an art gallery and cultural center showcasing traditional arts from the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The next event of the Great Eastern Viper Challenge Series, widely acknowledged as Asia's biggest obstacle course running event, is scheduled to be held at Genting Highlands on July 15, 2017. Dubbed the Great Eastern Genting King of the Mountain, it will challenge 10,000 participants for the second year as they battle the hilly terrain, winding roads and some new obstacles.  Hosted by Genting Resorts, the cool climate offers a unique experience for all participants, a vast difference from the searing heat of the previous stops.

When was the last time you stepped into a Video Game Center or an Arcade? For me, it was about the time when Time Crisis 2 was in fashion. Yeah, that was in 1997. Since then, I've played the odd game or two but haven't really sat down for a good session. Thanks to Resorts World Genting (RWG) however, I had the opportunity to see if I still had the magic and duked it out at Vision City Video Games Park

Everyday Food I Love was up here again at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting to escape the heat in Kuala Lumpur and savour the soothing ambience of the proverbial city in the clouds. This time however, we were here to observe Genting International Children's Festival 2017, and to catch the Soul of Shaolin, a critically acclaimed theatrical event that has toured the world in order to showcase the magnificence of Shaolin kung fu warriors.

Mother's Day is a special time of the year, when people around the world gather to pay tribute to mothers everywhere. And it was heartwarming to know that Resorts World Genting  (RWG) stepped up to this task by not forgetting the single mothers from far off Raub. It is fitting, considering that far-off Raub is the oldest town in Pahang and that the Single mothers invited up to RWG seldom have the chance to visit the cool resort and generally take a day off from their responsibilities. Here's a salute to you RWG!
