Everyday Food I Love

Viva Home Shopping mall is an integrated one-stop centre that opened sinced April 2011. Previously known as UE3 and now has transformed into a mall for home enthusiasts to find all their home needs in one place. There are many restaurants opened at Viva Home too, which today I'm trying this Kung Fu Room that are specializes in pan mee and noodles.

Kim Lian Kee was founded in 1927 by Ong Kim Lian who migrated to Malaya from Fukien, China, for a better life. The enterprising man ventured on his own with a food stall selling fried Hokkien mee at Campbell Road (now known as Jalan Dang Wangi). As the business expanded, he then, moved his stall to a bigger premises at Petaling Street. Over the years, with its good business, Kim Lian Kee Restaurant managed to opened a few branches in KL which included the latest branch at Viva Home Mall.
