Everyday Food I Love

Kalamazoo, the largest city in the southwest region of Michigan state in the U.S., is now also the name of a newly opened restaurant located in Aman Suria, PJ. The brainchild of 4 affable and young Western Michigan University (WMU) graduates, their love for food has brought them together in starting this restaurant that serves food with the Kalamazoo influence. Walking into the restaurant gave me a feeling of warmth, especially with pictures of their university life plastered on the walls. The restaurant was minimalistic with straightforward, wooden furniture and warm lighting.

Busy, busy, busy. Gonna take my SPM results this Wed. Oh Em Gee. Oh yeah, my last paper’s today. One week of semester break officially starts.

Snugly located in the middle of Aman Suria Damansuria, is a homely american diner, serving American Midwest recipe to our tropic Malaysian shores. However, the proprietors were able to keep costs down by serving mostly local produce, so you won't have to worry about paying ridiculous amount for a humble good old American Burger.

Be prepared to wait for at least half an hour or more as everyone else seated inside the coffee shop will be waiting for a plate of good char siu noodle. I noticed that the man who is manning the stall keeps thrusting tray after tray of char sius into the oven for reheat.
