Screening Marvel's The Avengers at e@Curve

Image
A free movie ticket "Marvel's The Avenger" at Cathay Cineplex e@Curve sponsored by myiMart Sdn. Bhd. ( www.myimart.com ). The most anticipated movie of the year has finally landed on the silver screen. And why does this movie generate so much huha's you ask? Well maybe its because of those years of staying back in the cinema after the credit roles, watching snippets of 3 different movies, just to piece together of what is to come. It is also the excitement of seeing characters from different movies crossing-over into one picture, that stirs a unique feeling that cannot be experienced in other movies. For the more geeky-ones, another movie to bash in back-room chat, on how the silver screen always messes up the 'original' characters and story line.

McDonald, Iron Man2 (Movie) @ 1 Borneo and Restoran Seafood (Dinner) @ Likas

Last weekend, we watched Ip Man 2 and planned to watch Iron Man 2 on this weekend. Another movie that was in our must-watch list. As usual, weekend is always a day for fast food and Jack will be the decision maker. Since we were still early and still eligible for the McDonald lunch time value meal, Jack chose McDonald. Angeline and I ordered the Ayam Goreng McD Spicy Set while Jack ordered his all-time-favourite Big Mac Set. We enjoyed each other company and the food tasted much more tastier. Unfortunately, next weekend onwards, it will never be the same again. Angeline will continue her food blogging in KL while I will still focus on KK food. The Ong's sisters will have to stay apart for a while ;) After lunch, we managed to check out the PC Fair at 1Borneo. Compare to last year, the PC Fair at 1Borneo is more successful this year. It was really happening. Finally, it was time for movie, Iron Man 2. Picking up from the previous Iron Man movie, the public is aware of Tony Stark ...

Dinner at SGCC (Sabah Golf Club) @ Bukit Padang

It was Sunday afternoon and we all suddenly made up our mind to go out for movie. Called up Paul and Shirley and they were interested to watch The Losers too. It was really a good movie with action and humorous scenes. The movie started with a highly skilled team of U.S. Special Forces consisting of Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) - operational control; Jensen (Chris Evan) - communications and tech; Roque( Idris Elba) - demo and tactical; Pooch (Columbus Short) - transportation and heavy weapons and Cougar (Oscar Jaenada) as long range shooter, being send for a mission in Bolivia but was attacked by their own agency and all presumed dead. They stay in Bolivia until they met Aisha (Zoe Saldana) who appear out of nowehere to strike a deal with them; track down Max (the bad guy) and bring back their lives. In the movie, Jensen provides most of the laughter with his lame jokes in rather inappropriate time. After the movie, we when to SGCC for dinner. Ratings: Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanlin...
