Wine Tasting @ Portofino Ristorante Italiano

Portofino Ristorante Italiano invited Everydayfoodilove.co recently to wine tasting event on the 4th of October 2016. The star of the event was Mr. Alberto Orengia, who is the Asia Area Manager of Sartori di Verona. On the auspicious occasion, he and the famous vintner were proud to showcase 5 of their excellent wines, two of which were white wines and the remaining three red. But before we begin, a little bit about our wine host.

Northwest Cherries from the United States, the most popular cherry amongst Malaysian consumers made the new season debut at Jasons Food Hall, Bangsar Shopping Centre recently. Northwest Cherries make up 75% of cherry sales in Malaysia, proof that when it comes to cherries, it takes the cake. Mr Chris Rittgers, Agricultural Attaché of the United States Embassy of Malaysia made an honoured appearance to launch the new season of Northwest Cherries.

At Bisou Bake Shop you'll be sporting a selection of homestyle cupcakes, cakes and cookies, there is something to suit every palate. With 13 cupcake flavours everyday and an additional “Cupcake of the Month”, cupcake lovers are spoilt for choice. Huck moved his popular cafe from Petaling Jaya to Bangsar. It's much closer and more convenient now Huck's Café is an outlet at Bangsar serving a mix of Asian, Western, Italian and Mexican fare. The restaurant prepares their ingredients fresh everyday which means that orders are only taken through advanced reservations. No walk-in guests allowed to ensure purchase of ingredients are pre-planned. Dinner is at RM88 per person for this gastronomic meal.

This coffee shop is actually quite small, pack and hot but it's all well worth it for good food, parking is another headache so you got to try your luck. There are many food stall in this little coffee shop and quite a few are famous too. Check it out yourself!
