TPC Kuala Lumpur today celebrated another feather in its cap as Malaysia’s Best Golf Course at the 6th World Golf Awards gala held in Abu Dhabi. The award is specifically attributed to TPC Kuala Lumpur’s West Course, a par 72 course that spans 6,405 metres. Originally opened in 1991, the multi-award winning West Course underwent a total makeover in 2008 and another round of enhancements in 2018 to deliver top notch playing conditions.

The Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur started the Year of the Monkey with a bang by being voted the winner of the Best 5-Star Hotel in the Going Places Readers’ Choice Awards 2015 by ‘Going Places’, Malaysia Airlines in-flight magazine.

Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur has been named the best hotel in Kuala Lumpur in the Global Trade Review (GTR) Travel Survey. GTR invited their readers to take part in the inaugural survey to identify the world’s best airlines and hotels. Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur stands tall among other stellar hotels in cities like New York, Paris, Dubai and Shanghai in the list of winners announced by GTR on 3 November.

The Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is pleased and honoured to have received two prestigious awards recently. Award for Best City Hotel – Kuala Lumpur at the 26th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2015 on 1 October. The TTG Travel Awards are organised annually by TTG Asia. The winners of the awards were determined by votes from the readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTGmice, TTG-BTmice China, TTGassociations and TTG Asia Luxury.

It was a night of celebration for Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) as the brewery took home three awards at the Putra Brand Awards held at Majestic Hotel. Heineken received a gold, and Tiger Beer garnered a silver in the Beverage-Alcoholic category, bringing GAB’s total tally from the prestigious awards ceremony to 18 wins over six years. To further solidify GAB’s victory, Heineken was inducted into the Putra Brand Icon Hall of Fame for winning its fourth consecutive gold award.
