Beats and Brunch is a new concept of dining at Lafite, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur which will debut on Sunday, 6 August 2017 between 12noon to 3pm. The brunch will feature an array of ‘all-you-can-eat’ contemporary French cuisine with delicious entrées, mains, desserts and a la minute delights prepared by Executive Chef Olivier Pistre. This will be paired with live DJ music and free flow of champagne, wine and cocktails.

Our culinary experts have put together a unique and lavish six-course dinner menu in conjunction with this special day, which is bound to ignite your senses and give you an out of this world dining experience.

Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur presents “From Farm to Table” cuisine by Chef Rémy Lefebvre at Lafite. Farm fresh vegetables, seasonal and sustainable ingredients are the essence of his latest creations at Lafite. Chef de cuisine Rémy hand-picks fresh vegetables from Cameron Highlands, and seafood from sustainable sources.

Kudos has opened at the Jesselton Hotel and the newly renovated restaurant has an airy, modern yet classic feel to it. Within their new menu they proudly serve a selection of modern British food which incorporates French, Italian, Mediterranean and other European dishes. The wine list has over 24 wines by the glass from light Sauvignon Blanc to a robust Cabernet Sauvignon or Shiraz to satisfy the most discerning wine enthusiast. Executive Chef Marc and culinary team are committed to use whatever possible local organic produce, premium meats and sustainable seafood here. It has become the perfect venue for breakfast, business lunch, romantic candle light dinner ;and gathering place for friends and family.

  Located at the ground floor at newest hotel in Tanjung Aru (just next to La Salle School) is another brainchild of Think Thank Creation (of Chef Leo fame). This up and coming restaurant is the place to be with trendy menu - big on taste and visually appealing, while surrounded by trappings of modern architecture. Also, our visit to this fine place is under invitation of the ever creative group head, Chef Leo.

Yeast is a newly opened, chic and cozy bistro that offer delicious and simple French cuisine, Christophe Chatron-Michaud and his Malaysian-born wife, Lissan Teh are the founder of Yeast. Yeast, specialize in traditional Artisan French bread. Their breads are made using home-grown, natural yeast which can hardly find using in any bakeries and food outlets nowaday, it gives the bread a better texture, perfect crust and flavor. During lunch hours, their menu are more bread-centered items, as breads are the main acts in this establishment. For those who are leaving the office at 5pm-7pm everyday can pick up some marked down price bread with 30 percent off. Yeast provide a  hearty breakfast, quick business lunches, afternoon teas and romantic dinner which you can relax while enjoying your meal and sipping away your glass of wine in this perfect cozy ambient.

The Press Room, conveniently located at the front of Bangsar Shopping Centre, is an interpretation of a vintage European brasserie.
