Genting Highlands, 31st December 2019 – The Chin Swee Vegetarian Cuisine Restaurant was awarded the prestigious World Top Gourmet award in the Vegetarian category in Year 2019 by Master Chef Jeffrey Tan, OAM (Order of Australia Medal). Located mid-hill in the Chin Swee temple, this vegetarian restaurant is the only of its kind in Genting Highlands. It was established in 2007 at 4600 feet/1402 meters above sea level, surrounded by lush slopes of the virgin tropical forest.

Genting Highlands, 25 December 2019 – Tis’ the season of love, giving and magic; that’s exactly what Al McKay’s Earth, Wind & Fire Experience gave to their Malaysian fans at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting as they performed an incredible set list of Earth, Wind & Fire hits on Christmas Eve last night. The band created a remarkable Christmas atmosphere that turned Arena of Stars into a disco-like stadium with thousands of fans moving their feet and throwing their hands in the air.

Metro City and the Outdoor Cinema Genting Highlands, 11 October 2019 – Resort’s World Genting’s First-Ever Starlight Carnival will be taking place over the span of three weeks with various must watch attractions, on every Thursday to Saturday from 6:00pm to 12:00am [Thursday and Friday] and 3:00pm to 1:00am on Saturday. The likes of Carnival Cinema featuring blockbuster movies to various music performances by tribute bands to an Oktoberfest Hall with an array of food trucks and beverages to pick from.

It is that special time of the year again. The Mid-Autumn festival is a beloved time of the year, and Resorts World Genting is throwing a Tea Party on the Moon from 10 August to 16 September 2019 for the occasion. This is the standard that has been set by Zouk which originated in Singapore which was voted third best club in the world in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs DJ Ranking. The clubbing experience in the country is about to get bigger and better than ever with Zouk Atrium which will encompass the main club Zouk, Empire by Zouk, RedTail by Zouk, RedTail Karaoke as well as a RedTail BBQ outlet and Fuhu a new vibe dining restaurant in 2019, all in one trendsetting space. Empire is one of Zouk Genting’s two club outlets, and one of the newest concepts introduced under the Zouk umbrella. The idea behind Empire stems from a hip-hop themed, dual club-lounge that is reminiscent of the upscale, private lounges in New York. Kebawah Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum Al Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Alhaj certainly believes that, as Her Royal Highness directed the creation of a programme dedicated to rehabilitating female inmates through culinary skills. Announced during the Program One Touch Wanita, Masakan Kasih Sayang Dan Perniagaan event in October 2018, the auspices of Her Royal Highness saw the inmates of Bentong Prison equipped with work skills meant to be useful to them when they are re-integrated into wider society.

Sometime ago, I had the opportunity to try a new restaurant at the SkyAvenue , up here in Resorts World Genting. The feedback I have been getting about the makeover for the resort is relatively mixed, but everyone agrees that it is so much different (and generally for the better) now than it was years ago.

Up here again in the City in the Clouds, this time for another food trail adventure lasting 12 hours! You know, every time I come up here to enjoy the cool ambience of Resorts World Genting (RWG), there is always something new to see and try. Indeed, this place is nearly unrecognizable when compared to the last time I was here as a young ahem adult. Of course, while we are waiting for the new theme park to regale us, we have the new SkyAvenue to explore!
