Famed for its Assam Fish and Beaufort cuisine, we are always attracted to this eatery for a nice meal. Another plus point for this restaurant is the heaps of vegetable they give you with every noodle dish. Very healthy indeed.

Restoran Dah Yeh Location: Corner shop, near Tshung Tsin School $$$ Ratings: Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 It was well-known that Kedai Kopi Lotus served good food at a reasonable cheap prices. Located at the other end of the shop lots from Kedai Kopi Lotus, is the rival's shop, Restoran Dah Yeh. I have yet to try it and hence, I went for dinner. Black Pepper Beef The Black Pepper Beef was cooked with a tinge of Coke. Beef was tender and tasted savoury with mild black pepper's flavour. Tasty. Sweet and Sour Fish Fish fillets was lightly coated with batter and deep fried. The succulent fish goes well with the sweet and sour sauce which was cooked with pineapple cubes, capsicum. chili and onion.  Stir-fried Local Vegetables with Egg Our last dish was the Stir-fried Vegetables. Taste wise, it was okay. However, the vegetables was a little bit old, hence, it was kind of hard to ingest. Total Paid = RM32.30 (including 2 X Rice + 1 X Plain Water)

Our first visit to Kedai Kopi Lotus was about a year ago. It's time to pay a second visit and satisfy Jack's craving for grilled chicken wings. Grilled Chicken Wings (RM1.80 X 3 = RM5.40) The sweet sensation of the fragrantly good Chicken Wing was something hard to be resisted. Delicious flavoured! Our Dinner Fried Noodle (Wet style) RM8.00 Being forgetful, I accidentally ordered the Fried Noodle with Mixed Ingredients. When, Jack found out, we managed to stopped them from adding pork to the noodle. Somehow, there was some pork livers being added. Taste wise, it was good. The noodle consisted the succulent taste of prawns, sweetness from chicken and savoury wok taste. Wor Tip (Chicken) RM6.00 The Wor Tip contained generous minced chicken filling. The dumpling's ...

Restaurant Man Tai (Beaufort) Location: Shop lots located inside the housing area of Taman Dah Yeh $$$ Ratings: Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Restaurant Man Tai (Beaufort) is actually the origins of the Little Man Tai @ Kingfisher, New Man Tai @ Gaya Street and Bundusan and Restoran Beaufort @ Lido (do correct me if I got the information wrongly). Being a fan of Beaufort Mee, my favourite place had always been Yu Hing, although it was quite pricey but quality food were being served. Seafood Fried Noodle RM8.00 The Seafood Fried Noodle also known as Beaufort Mee. The signature way of cooking the noodle was suppose to be using pork and Char Siu but I preferred the seafood version. Taste wise, it was comparable with Yu Hing. But, portion wise, it was a little bit too small satisfy my huge appetite. Fresh prawns and Dory fish were used as the ingredients. Fried Rice with Char Siu RM6.00 As I noticed that the Fried Rice with Char Siu was a popular order, I decided to or...
