RWG . Tea Party On The Moon

Image
It is that special time of the year again. When families come together under the soft light of lanterns and the moon, to feast on mooncakes and contemplate the beauty and poetry of the full celestial body. The Mid-Autumn festival is a beloved time of the year, and Resorts World Genting is throwing a Tea Party on the Moon from 10 August to 16 September 2019 for the occasion. It will be a fun-filled time full of fabulous food and fantastic frolics, led off by the new Moondance animated show at the SkySymphony stage at SkyAvenue with plenty of variety of mooncakes to savor and also a spectacular performance at Times Square.  Hosted by Resorts World Genting at the SkyAtrium, the scene recreates the celestial setting as seen in the Moondance SkySymphony show. Under a shower of multi-coloured neon lanterns, the Party On The Moon brings together all the key elements of the Mid-Autumn Festival – bunnies, mooncakes and stars – built on a floor that has been transformed in a bri...

AGED Restaurant and Bar

Image
Sometime ago, I had the opportunity to try a new restaurant at the SkyAvenue , up here in Resorts World Genting. The feedback I have been getting about the makeover for the resort is relatively mixed, but everyone agrees that it is so much different (and generally for the better) now than it was years ago.

Up here again in the City in the Clouds, this time for another food trail adventure lasting 12 hours! You know, every time I come up here to enjoy the cool ambience of Resorts World Genting (RWG), there is always something new to see and try. Indeed, this place is nearly unrecognizable when compared to the last time I was here as a young ahem adult. Of course, while we are waiting for the new theme park to regale us, we have the new SkyAvenue to explore! Feliz Navidad & Cocina Española at La Fiesta

Image
There are many fine restaurants to patronise while you are enjoying the cool climate of Resorts World Genting at SkyAvenue. We at Everyday Food I Love has had the pleasure of trying out some of the new outlets over the course of 2017, but La Fiesta has got to be one of the more exclusive experiences as it offers authentic Spanish cuisine. Here is how my first visit to this establishment went down.

Palsaik Korean BBQ SkyAvenue Genting

Image
This restaurant is one of my favourite places to visit at Resorts World Genting! When enjoying the cool clime of the City in the Clouds, nothing beats having spicy food and good drink at the same time. I especially love it at night, when the place is a little foggy and you can focus on the food and the discussion at your table without breaking a sweat. You really have to visit this place during the day and at night to understand what I am writing about.

Brooklyn Day Out! At the RWG SkyAvenue

Hi! And welcome back to another installment of my write-ups, about visiting Resorts World Genting (RWG). Regular readers would know that sometime in the beginning of this year, I was invited up to RWG to usher in the New Year and learn more about the exciting things that are happening to this resort city. One of the best things I discovered up here was the opening of an outlet, Motorino Pizzeria Malaysia, straight from New York City! And if you haven't, you can read more about that blog posting here .

As a holiday destination, Resorts World Genting (RWG) attracts over 20 million visitors annually. Just think about that. That's an average of nearly 55,000 persons coming up 6,000 feet here daily!

Mother's Day Celebration at SkyAvenue

Image
Mother's Day is a special time of the year, when people around the world gather to pay tribute to mothers everywhere. And it was heartwarming to know that Resorts World Genting  (RWG) stepped up to this task by not forgetting the single mothers from far off Raub. It is fitting, considering that far-off Raub is the oldest town in Pahang and that the Single mothers invited up to RWG seldom have the chance to visit the cool resort and generally take a day off from their responsibilities. Here's a salute to you RWG!
