Scotland's first series of test matches under incoming Head Coach Gregor Townsend have been confirmed for the forthcoming summer tour this June. The national team will face a trio of opponents on consecutive Saturdays, starting with an historic test match against Italy in Singapore (10 June), followed by Australia in Sydney (17 June) and Fiji in Suva (24 June).

Singapore men and women national 7s team will have something in common with the defending HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s champion Kenya come this April. The Singapore teams will march onto the field on 14 April at the Yio Chu Kang Stadium for the 2017 South East Asian 7s (SEA 7s) in national jerseys by Samurai Sportswear. Kenya, who will defend its HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s title on 15 and 16 April at the Singapore National Stadium is also sponsored by Samurai.

Rugby Singapore announced today that they are releasing 300 new Platinum tickets for the 2017 HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s on 15-16 April at the National Stadium. Platinum tickets had sold out a couple of weeks back, and Rugby Singapore have since faced huge demand, based on numerous phone calls, in the week following the Lunar New Year.

THOMAS BRUINS AND EMMA POOLEY WINS POWERMAN ASIA DUATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016

2,645 Participants Breaks Malaysia Book of Records and Powerman’s International Participation Record. After an intense race, Thomas Bruins completed the race in 2:35:53 to be crowned the winner of the Powerman Asia Duathlon Championships – Malaysia 2016. This was followed by Filipino John Leerams Chicano, 2:39:19 and Frenchman Gael Le Bellec, 2:40:42 as the first and second runner up respectively. United Kingdom’s Emma Pooley came in first in the female elite category with a total completion time of 2:57:27, followed by Airi Sawada, Japan, and Mirasol Abad, The Philippines, who have completed the race in 3:13:40 and 3:15:40 respectively.
