Loh Mee which derived from the hokkien dialect, is literally translated as “Stewed / Braised Noodles”. Whilst it is not stewed as long as say, a meat dish, nevertheless the cooking time is longer for this type of noodle compared to others. There are two types of Loh Mee in Malaysia, ones come with a thicker gravy and usually served with black vinegar while the other, cooked in prawn's and pork's broth and served with sambal belacan.

Kedai Kopi Yee Hin Location: Near G-Mart $$ Ratings: Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 2.5/5 Jack was pretty interested to check out the Eddie D' Corner at Kedai Kopi Yee Hin to see whether it was a clone or it is just another branches from Restaurant Eddie. However, we didn't planned to have Western food but instead we wanted to eat the Tai Chow there. When we reached, Jack doubted that we should dine-in as the shop was occupied by mostly beer drinkers. Then, we find an empty seat which is further from the beer drinkers. Tuaran Mee RM5.00 Although compared to the original Tuaran Mee, it was not even close to similarity, but the taste of this Tuaran Mee was very special and tasty. It was fragrantly good. We couldn't resisted ourselves from having a second bite after we try it. Very flavourful yet doesn't tasted greasy. Wat Tan Ho RM5.00 The Wat Tan Ho was full of egg's gravy. Doesn't tasted gluey at all. The koay teow on the other hands, was fried til...

We are going to watch Karate Kid tonight. Before the movie, we had a simple lunch nearby the cinema. Roasted Chicken Rice RM4.50 At first glance, I thought that the Chicken Rice won't be good but I'm wrong. The Roasted Chicken was not bad. The meat was firm and smooth while the sauce tasted a bit too salty but goes well with the rice. The Nasi Minyak had a mild aroma of ginger and tasted quite flavourful. Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet RM4.00 We saw quite a lot of patrons ordering the Sweet and Sour Fish (whole fish) from the Economy Rice Counter, so, Jack wanted to try the dish too. We were worried that we couldn't finish the whole fish, so, Jack picked the Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet. Taste wise, it was not bad. The fish wasn't crispy but the sweet and sour sauce that coate...
