OM Burger Stall @ Ampang Jaya

Image
To be honest, I’m not a fan of supper. I usually try to avoid eating past 10pm at night since the metabolism rate is slowest after that and whatever that goes into the body will stay in, if you know what I mean. Still, during the occasional event or two, the glutton in me says otherwise, and I would be indulging in (usually) sinful and unhealthy food way past my supper time. Yesterday was one of the night. Our good friend Ken brought us to the famous OM Burger at Ampang Jaya, with the promise of the Best Street Burger in Klang Valley. How could we say no?

La Risata @ Persiaran Ampang

Image
What makes a great pizza? Everyone has different versions of the perfect pizza, and to me, a great pizza has absolutely thin crust that is crispy at the edges, light, has cheesy toppings and most importantly, wood-fired. That, coupled with the fact that I’m a sucker for Italian food, landed us at La Risata one fine evening with some lovely company. It was my first time there, and the dining area boasted raw brick walls which gave it a casual yet cosy ambience especially on a rainy night.

LA RISATA Bar.Pizzeria.Ristorante @ Persiaran Ampang

A food review invitation by Mr. Azaiiman (Promotion Manager) with bloggers. La Risata (define as laughter in Italian) has been patronized by expatriates and locals for the last 15 years, it serve authentic Italian food in a tucked away suburb of Ampang. Recently, the restaurant had moved a few doors down the shophouses, in bigger double storey unit, with a stunning interior of exposed brick and antique chandelier. Furnitures were specially handpicked by Lissa Yeoh (restaurant owner/ partner). Restaurant upper floor is perfectly fit for a company events and parties.

Haven Restaurant @ Ampang

Image
I think I lost my interest in blogging today.. I hope it’s only today. Anyway, I went all the way to Ampang for dinner last night.. On the way there my mum found a pretty sunlight shining down.. Don’t you think its pretty So! The place I went to was Haven. (To me, I’d rather call it Heaven, since its on a hilltop, we get to see the whole of KL. Just like how God can see everyone on Earth up at heaven.)

When we walked in, I didn’t believe it was Penang Village. White and black interior decor. Including chairs and tables and their plates! Urban atmosphere while having great Penang food. Overall, I really like the food there. It’s Penang food for KL people.
