With New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day fast approaching Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur has specially prepared some splendid activities and promotions for both days.

On the 1st December 2016, Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur hosted its annual Christma Tree lighting ceremony in the hotel lobby to usher in the Christmas festive season. The event was a glittering one, and was officiated by the Senior Director of Tourism Malaysia and the Ambassador of the republic of Finland to Malaysia.

Celebrating the festive season at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel this year promises to be filled with luscious treats that will surely bring out the inner child in you. As joy fills the air, preparations are underway with an endless array of sumptuous delightful dishes for the young and old alike. Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is offering two packages specially created for the festive season. Celebrate the New Year in style with family, friends and corporate clients in the function rooms and Ballroom of the hotel. The Festive Celebration Package, available until 31 December 2015, offers a selection of buffet menus from RM180++ per person onwards. There will be complimentary pre-function drinks with tidbits such as gingerbread, roasted chestnuts and candy canes for Christmas, and canapes for New Year. Complimentary mocktails will be served throughout dinner.

It’s fine and elegant dining at Lafite, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur for Christmas and New Year. Chef de cuisine of Lafite, Jean-Philippe Guiard has prepared special dinner menus for the festive season. For dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there is a choice of a five-course or seven-course menu. The five-course menu at RM395 nett per person, begins with Duck Liver Terrine and port wine jelly, warm home-made brioche and balsamic reduction. Langoustine Ravioli, melted leek, langoustine and saffron bisque, avruga caviar follows.
