Ficelle Boulangerie Patisserie (under the same management as Levain Boulangerie) is a great place for an alfresco Sunday brunch. Pastry lovers will thrive here with the great selections of bread and pastry. Recently recommended by KLUE's. This wonderful, charming little patisserie hidden away deep in Taman Danau Desa is only 15 minutes away from Midvalley Megamall.

Ficelle Boulangerie n Patisserie is opened in Taman Danau Desa sinced May 2011, it's under the same management as Levain Boulangerie which is located at Jalan Delima, Off Jalan Delima , so there're similarities in the setting and servings. They serve variety of food here, something not to be miss is their sinfully sweet and tasty pastries that will definitely tantalize your taste buds. The ambiance of Levain is slightly better here, with shady trees engulf their surroundings and fans are situated everywhere, making it quite delightful indeed. For those fans of hand crafted pastries and buns, you'll fall in love with Ficelle. Price wise, slightly cheaper than The Loaf.

This restaurant has been featuring in many newspapers and magazines, famous for their fish head and fish paste noodles (meehoon/yee mee), original branch is located in Cheras. It's crowded most of the time, if you are late then you will probably have to stand and wait for the table. Besides fish head (deep fried or fresh)and fish paste, they serve deep fried fu zhu and fish cake as well. For an extra kick you should try their blended chili sauce.

Restoran Jalal Yusof is located in a strategic location at Taman Danau Desa, thier business in operation 24 hours, everyday with  non off. It serve all sort of mamak style food, thai food, moghul food and western food as well to cater for everyone. I was told they are famous for their Indomie with sunny side up (RM3.50) and most people order double noodle (RM5.50). Barbican drink (Halal Beer) from Dubai are sold here, for the price of RM4.50 /btl. For the past 3 1/2 years their restaurant cleanlines has been categories grade A, pretty good for a mamak restaurant.
