MiM Restoran @ Menggatal

MiM Restoran Location: Next to CKS Menggatal $$ Ratings: Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 100Plus RM1.80 and Water RM0.30 Next to CKS at Taman Permai, MiM Restoran is frequent by the residents nearby the area. Due to its strategic location, it's quite convenient for us to patronize the restaurant before having the grocery shopping. Nasi Goreng Kampung RM5.00 Initially, I ordered the Nasi Goreng Seafood, but I was served with the Nasi Goreng Kampung. I accepted it as it was one of my favourite fried rice too. Deliciously flavoured rice which consisted of savoury wok taste with mild spiciness. Fried with cabbage, egg and fried anchovies, ingredients used were rather simple but good quality of rice was used which compromised the good taste. Mee Goreng Mamak RM5.00 I always preferred the KL's style of Mee Goreng Mamak which used beancurd, egg, cabbage and tomato to fried the noodle. Fragrant with just the right sweet-savoury taste. It comes with chicken meat too. ...

Kedai Kopi Loong Kee Location: Near CKS Menggatal, Taman Permai. $$-$$$ Ratings: Food: 3.8/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 This particular restaurant had yet to be officially open, hence, I couldn't provide an accurate name of the restaurant. However, I'm glad that there is finally a Chinese restaurant which operated during the evening at Menggatal area. Broccoli with Beancurd Roll and Mushroom Recommended by the lady the boss, the dish was quite good. Fragrant with five spices flavour, it was a very light and healthy dish. Nice flavour too!     Sweet and Sour Fish Next, we had Sweet and Sour Fish. Fish tasted crispy and delicious. The sweet-sourish taste was just nice. Good to go with rice.   Total paid: RM16.70 (including 2 X Rice + 100PLus) At first, I was unsure with the serving size, therefore, we only ordered two dishes. I guessed I'll be back for more soon.         5 New Food Review Post for today!!! (click here) or Log on to the...

Five Star Chicken Rice @ Menggatal

Image
Five Star Chicken Rice Location: Corner shop, near main road $$ Ratings: Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Five Star Chicken Rice doesn't seems to be a new restaurant to most of the locals in KK. Before Merdeka Foodcourt were renovated, one of the Five Star Chicken Rice's stall used to be there. Now, I had seen their branches at Centrepoint, Gaya Street and Menggatal. Combination of Char Siu and Wantan Noodle Soup, RM5.00 Whenever I eat noodle soup, the most important element will be the soup. The Wantan Noodle soup here tasted good, sweet and savoury. The Char Siu was well-marinated and the Wantan was okay. Pork Leg Vinegar, RM5.00 The Pork Leg Vinegar was not very strong in flavour. Thick sauce with a mild ginger taste. The black vinegar taste wasn't strong, so it doesn't really taste sourish. However, the taste was okay and we quite like it. Combination Meat Kon Lau Mien, RM5.50 The Kon Lau Mien tasted good. It reminded me of West Malaysia's Wanta...
