Nyepi Day or the Balinese Day of Silence falls on 25th March 2020 is a unique Balinese New Year holiday where all activity on the island literally comes to a complete standstill for the duration of 24 hours. Nyepi is observed as a day of complete silence without any noise, traffic, fire and lights. It begins at 6AM on Wednesday, 25 March and ends the next day at 6AM. Iconic Indonesian band, Dewa 19, rocked The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali on Friday, 31st January 2020 for the second edition of its popular Marriot Bonvoy concert series. The event took place at Mangupura Hall, a multi-faceted venue supported by a permanent stage and state-of-the-art audiovisual system. A packed house of dedicated fans gathered for the long-awaited reunion of Dewa 19 featuring multi-talented musician and former band member Once Mekel on lead vocals. It was truly a high-energy evening of upbeat music that reinforced the popularity of one of Indonesia’s all-time favorite bands.

Music lovers are in for a real treat with an evening of great sounds by one of Indonesia’s all-time favorite bands.

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is once again putting families first with a versatile collection of dining experiences and wellness activities to enhance the month of September. Beachfront Ikan Restaurant continues to introduce guests to local Indonesian cuisine with another tasty promotion called Gerobak Bakwan. This popular street food from Surabaya is actually fried wonton served with tofu, noodles and meatballs in a soupy broth. Our version is prepared in a replica of a traditional food cart to maintain the authenticity of this flavorful dish. It is available daily from 5.30pm to 9.30pm.
