Whenever passing by the Filipino market, you'll come across a special seaweed which look like fish eggs. Frankly, I didn’t know what it was until I tried it.

Restoran Sempelang Location: Sinsuran, easy to spot by the roadside $$ Ratings: Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 2.5/5 Perhaps some Grilled Fish? We weren't sure of the food available at Sempelang. Therefore, we walked around before making our orders. The Satays looks good too... Sup Tulang RM5.00 When comes to locals specialty, Sup Tulang will sure be on the list. I personally love the mild herby taste of the soup. To eliminate the greasy feeling while having the soup, I would add-in some lime juice for extra flavour. The meats that stick at the Tulang (Beef bone) was tender and easy to chew. Beefy and flavourful. Nasi Paprik RM5.00 Just a simple stir-fry vegetables with chicken to go with rice is an healthy option for dinner. Used broccoli, cauliflower, capsicum, button mushroom, small corn and chicken meats as ingredients. A savoury dish with generous portion. Taste wise, it was good.  Total Paid = RM 13.50 (including dri...

City Food Corner @ Sinsuran

City Food Corner Location: Directly opposite Public Bank, Centre Point $$ Ratings: Food: 2.5/5 Service: Self-service Cleanliness: 3/5 While I'm on my way to Centrepoint, I noticed that City Food Corner had recently been upgraded. With the new outlook, it caught my attention. Quite similar with Fook Yuen, they serves pastries, Economy Fried Noodle, Economy Rice and some local dishes. When I reached the shop, it was pretty late, around 8pm, whereby there are getting ready to close. Some of the ready-cooked dishes were being packed or clean-up. Economy Rice Pastries and Cakes Instead of getting the ready-cooked food, Jack and I ordered the local dishes from the Menu. Laksa RM6.00 The Laksa taste was light. It contained mild coconut milk flavour and mild Laksa's spices taste. Comes with egg, 2 big prawns and generous amount of chicken. 3/5 Nasi Goreng Kampung RM6.00 The taste of the Nasi Goreng Kampung was pretty light. It was fried with Choy Sum, chili, egg and fried an...

Kedai Kopi Seng Hing Location: Ruang Sinsuran 2, Near Le Meridian Hotel and Centrepoint $$ Ratings: Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Tom Yam Meehoon with Fish RM7 For most locals, Kedai Kopi Seng Hing had been well-known for their Tom Yam Noodle. It is one of the best Tom Yam Noodle in KK. Located in the heart of KK town, it is accessible to tourists as well. Anyway, it was my first encounter. The Tom Yam Meehoon with Fish really tasted good. Rich in Tom Yam spices taste, sourish, spicy and creamy enough. Everything was done just right. The fish was crispy as well. A good recommendation for those who love prawns, Tom Yam Noodle with Prawn is one of their signature dish. Tuaran Mee RM5 For those who love Tuaran Mee or wanted to try Tuaran Mee but wouldn't want to travel far, you can try the Tuaran Mee at Seng Hing. Although the best will still be at Tuaran, the origin's place of Tuaran Mee, still, you will not be disappointed with the taste of the Tuaran Mee at Se...
