Restaurant LFF at OUG

Image
Located strategically at Jalan Awan Hijau, OUG just across from the Shell station, Restaurant LFF offers a culinary haven amidst the bustling streets. While parking can be a challenge, arriving early, as we did on a Friday evening around 5:30 pm, ensures a hassle-free experience. Foodvlog:   Restaurant LFF Food Review Video Entering the restaurant, we were greeted warmly by the friendly lady boss, whose thoughtful recommendations guided our culinary journey. Presented with enticing options like the Ginger Paste Steamed Fish Head, Spicy Bean Paste, and Cai Bo, we opted for our perennial favorite, the Ginger Paste Steamed Fish Head. The delicate balance of flavors in this signature dish left our palates thoroughly satisfied. Apart from the Steamed FIsh Head, we indulged in two additional dishes: the vibrant Spinach in Superior Soup and the classic Sweet and Sour Pork, both of which meet our expectations with their freshness and taste. When the bill arrived, we were pleasantly surpris...

Marco Polo and the Chinese New Year Takeaway Treasures

Image
So Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021 have come and gone, and it looks like Chinese New Year is just around the corner in a few days time. How the time flies, especially when all we can do is spend most of it pent up safe at home whilst keeping a close eye on the global pandemic. And with the current guidelines set in place for observing the coming holidays and the restrictions around social gatherings, it makes sense to plan a decent dinner at home to at least give the coming holidays some semblance of spiritual renewal and to mark the special if nothing else.

A Cast of Crabs, Fei Fei Crab Restaurant

Image
Let us face it, there are not many among us who relish the notion of a protracted fight with a consortium of feisty crustaceans, but that is the expectation when you contemplate cooking a Cast of Crabs for dinner. (let’s not talk about cooking crabs for friends. It has never happened in my lifetime before. 😂). And yet, the white meat of this crusty decapod is universally considered a delicacy and people will go to great lengths to eat it when it is in season. The price of crabs are seasonal and subject to availability. But instead of worrying about all this, why not save yourself some trouble and head over to one of the many crab restaurants in the Klang Valley? We are spoilt for options when it comes to crab restaurants in the Klang Valley, but there are crab-meat lovers that swear by Fei Fei Crab Restaurant.
