The Grand Ballroom itself is the pride and joy of SDCC, with a column-free area capable of accommodating 2,600 guests. They also have smaller function rooms for more exclusive groups capable of fitting between 20 to 220 persons. Both the restaurants Halia and China Treasures are halal.

In preparation for the coming Chinese New Year 2017 which will take place on Saturday, January 28 2017, China Treasures Restaurant will helping you to celebrate the coming of the Year of the Fire Rooster with a special offer on a festive menu package starting this month until the end of the year. Vouchers can be purchased for RM338 nett for a table of five persons and RM598 nett for a table for ten persons this month. In November, this will increase to RM408 nett for a table of five persons and RM698 nett for a table for ten persons whereas in December, the offer will be at an increase of RM458 nett for a table of five persons and RM798 nett for a table for ten persons. These vouchers are usable from 1 January 2017 until the 28 February 2017.
Private bookings can also be made, starting from RM888 nett for a table of ten persons this month. This will increase to RM988 nett for a table of ten in November 2016, whereas in December 2016 this will increase to RM1,088 nett. Again, these bookings will be catered for events between 1 January 2017 to 28 February 2017.

And if you would like to impose on their Special Banqueting Packages for Chinese New Year Open House and External Catering Services, it is also possible. Simply speak to one of the representatives and they will be more than happy to cater to your needs.

In order to illustrate their resolve, SDCC and China Treasures recently hosted an Chinese New Year 2017 Food Review on the 6.10.2016. Everyday Food I Love was invited to take part this exclusive event, and it was good! An 8 course dinner was specially put together for that occasion, which featured traditional chinese dishes prepared from the best ingredients they could offer.
