Chinese New Year celebration is never complete without the partaking of the traditional auspicious salad dish known as ‘Yee Sang’. To kick start the Year, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu shared a customary tossing of ‘Yee Sang’ session with members of the press before indulging in a tantalizing medley of Must-Try festive dishes specially prepared by the Hotel’s Executive Chef Alvin Tan 陈書淵 & his team of Master Chef’s. Due to its past overwhelming response, Chef Alvin & his team will continue to serve this year’s ‘Yee Sang’ condiments with healthy Olive Oil （采用健康橄榄油的鸿运鱼生）to usher in Good HEALTH, Fortune, Luck, Wealth and Longevity throughout the year.

Known for its range of exquisitely crafted Hala mooncakes, Promenade Hotel KK is proud to once again unveil its much anticipated tapestry of unique flavours for this year's Mid-Autumn Festival. A total of 8 mooncakes and 3 mini crystal mooncakes were officially launched by the hotel's General Manager - Mr. Hafizan Wongat the hotel's Lobby Lounge.

21st May 2018. Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - Malaysia’s very own Celebrity Chef - Dato’ Chef Ismail Ahmad (or affectionately known as Chef Ismail) was specially flown in by Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu to showcase his mouthwatering Signature Malay cuisines at Promenade Café this month of Ramadan. Inspired by traditional and authentic Malay delicacies, Chef Ismail is well known for his meticulous preparation with emphasis on traditional recipes and the preservation of culinary heritage for the younger generation to appreciate.

Promenade Hotel Bintulu, Promenade Kota Kinabalu & Promenade Hotel Tawau ushered in Ramadan Al-Mubarak within a span of 1 week by hosting “Majlis Berbuka Puasa” with members of media fraternity based in Bintulu, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau respectively to signify the essence and true spirit of peace, forgiveness and togetherness at the forefront of this piety month of Ramadan.

Its that time of the year again, the time of giving and cherishing the blessings we’ve received. We’re also thankful to promenade for this little care package which is not only delectable but sweet as well (both in thoughtfulness and taste)

In line with the Malaysia Day celebration in September, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu pledged to continue its commitment towards its corporate social responsibilities (CSR), by taking the first initiative to acknowledge local unsung heroes of Sabah by unveiling 2 short video clips to ‘Celebrate Everyday Malaysian Heroes’ at its Bougainvilla Room.

Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu’s team is bending the rules a bit on its No Durian Policy by having “Durians” in the hotel Only for this month of August at its Promenade Café, Dynasty Restaurant and Deli Corner.

We are here this evening at Promenade Hotel’s Promenade Café, to try out their star specialty: Seafood Buffet. And you can have it many ways too, be it grilled, fried, boiled and baked. They also serve up a nice variety of menu, from fresh salads, local favorites, their signature whole roasted lamb, international cuisine and myriad of cakes and desserts. At a reasonable price of RM95 Nett for weekends and RM85 Nett of weeknights, its practically a steal by these days’ standards.

Chinese New Year is just around the corner. It is the time to revive and strengthen bonds with families and friends. Of course, it is also a time for feasting delightful and auspicious food.

On 29th of October 2011, it was a day when Melvin and Jan Marie tied the knot. After the morning ceremony in Glory Church, later that evening, they held a wedding banquet at Promenade Hotel.

And with their new internal deco now complete, it would add to a very great dinning experience. Very commendable for promenade to add that nice touch of changing backlight at their main entrance. This is certain to create an iconic hotel, noticeable even at a distance. The first round of chicken rice was barbequed with sweet and savoury marinade   Some of their dish do taste nice. Their curry beef ribs, kurma chicken and chinese style lamb tasted good. Although their use of chicken meat could improve as, it was sauce that was doing all the singing, while the chicken sang flat out of tune.   They did have nice assortment of desserts and...
