We are here again at Plaza Menggatal to unearth hidden gems of eateries serving delicious food. This place is located just before the Menggatal roundabout as you come from KK via old highway. It is also accessible by Tuaran Bypass, go past the only Pizza Hut and KFC and make a U-turn as you are about to reach a Futsal Centre, signboard of Menggatal Plaza is easy to spot.

Restoran Bak Kut Teh Klang Yip Weng is a place where ones can savour the authentic Klang Bak Kut Teh without travelling far. Apart from Bak Kut Teh, Mee Sua Tow is also a signature dish of the restaurant.

In KL, the uniquely flavour Bak Kut Teh which is served in a hotpot is a popular dish, together with its accompaniment. The heavy crowds at Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh in Gaya Street seems to be non-stop. Besides the great taste of the BKT, Sin Kee also provide fast service. Food will be serve within minutes after you place your order.

Klang is a place most famous for Bak Kut Teh, a herbal soup concoction with various pork cuts, from ribs to lean cuts, and tenderloin, and served with various type of vegetables.

Kee Heong Bak Kut Teh is one of the well known bak kut teh in Klang. This BKT restaurant has it own groups of loyal fans though with the thick soup. Their BKT version is more translucent, gelatinous and tender melting meat. You have a choice of the dry and the soup version of BKT both serve in a claypot.

When it comes to bak kut teh in Klang, you will be spoilt for choice cause there are hundreds of restaurants that serves bak kut teh; amongst the famous one are Seng Huat (under the Bridge Bak Kut Teh), Teluk Pulai Bak Kut Teh, Mo Sang Kor, and Pao Xiang. Mo Sang Kor is one of the famous bak kut teh establishments, their bkt are serve in a single portion bowl with a selection part of pork meat, a mushroom, a bulb of garlic and their thick, dark bak kut teh soup. If you plan a visit to Mo Sang Kor, make sure you go early cause by brunch time the one cuts of meat left is lean meat.

Restoran Beng Shen is famous for their Bak Kut Teh Mee Suah,  which is a hand made longevity noodles that take16 hours for processing to complete. Regulars will come for their bak kut teh mee suah and chicken wine mee suah, other than this they also offer a variety of order to cook dish like fried lala (clams), steamed fish and etc.

Apart from Bak Kut Teh, Man Li Hiong also serves other dishes such as Vinegar Pork Knuckle, Braised Mushroom with Chicken Feets and Stir-fried Vegetables.

Restoran Chuan Bee is one of the place which I will go when I am craving for good Bak Kut Teh in Klang. The restaurant was very popular and crowded during lunch time. The soup had a light herbal taste which I enjoyed a lot and what I like most is that I request for more soup subsequently.

We found this fabulous place for Bak Kut Teh and Steamed Fish Head, it has been one of our favourite dinner place, this restaurant also have a long history in Old Klang Road. The food here not only good but cheap and the service was excellent. This restaurant is located a few shop away from the ever famous "Ah Wang Bak Kut Teh Stall".

Sun Fong Bak Kut Teh is an well established restaurant located in Medan Imbi (near Soo Kee Sang Har Mee), it has been in business since late 1960's. Their 2nd branch are strategically located at the new commercial area at Bandar Baru Seri Petaling, opened sinced August 2011. Bak kut teh here are robust in herbal aroma. Signature's dishes: Bak kut teh (Original), Special Pork Stomach with pepper soup, Pork kidney/liver cooked in ginger wine, Spiced Pork Leg and Steamed Fish Head.

There are a lots of good food located at Old Klang Road area, most particularly good in bak kut teh and steamed fish. Many restaurants that stretched along winding road, dozens of it. Finding the right place can be a bit tricky. This is my regular place for steamed fish place and is highly recommended by many. Ah Wang Bak Kut Teh, it's located at the road side under the fly over right before Scott Garden. Although this place is named Ah Wang Bak Kut The but their signature dish is actually the steamed fish head in 4 options of sauces (assam, bean paste, ginger or soy sauce). This is a must visit or dining place for every trip I'm in KL. Heavenly good steamed fish head, highly recommended you order Assam and Bean Paste Sauce for your steamed fish head, try it!

Apart from Bak Kut Teh, Siaw Er Bak Kut Teh in 1Borneo also serves Pan Mee and other Chinese dishes. During lunch hours, from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, lunch set which included a main course and a drink is available at only RM6.80.

Klang is where they said the origin or birthplace of Bak Kut Teh, now is widely available everywhere in Malaysia, we don't have to travel all the way to Klang for it. Klang BKT has a signaficant slightly thicker type of soup or broth, to some people the heavier in herbs and color made it tasted better. Don't be suprised at Soon Huat Restaurant, one of their signature dish is actually Steam Fish Head with ginger, garlic and onion paste, which can be sold out as early during weekend and of course you must try their Signature's Big Bone Klang BKT. Others recommended dish: Salted Fish Pork Meat Cake, Chili Fried Kampung Fish, Pork Leg Vinegar, Baked Salted Chicken, Assam Cuttle Fish and etc.

There are a few popular Bak Kut Teh places in Sandakan. Nam Chai Restaurant Bah Kut Teh located at Bandar Nam Tung (Tanah Merah) is one of the local favorite too. Bak Kut Teh in Sandakan is quite a little different from West Malaysia, which slightly rich in peppery hot flavor and flooded with soup, it's available at lunch and dinner. Here you can choose seafood (whole fish, fish fillet and prawn) or the usual traditional Bak Kut Teh ingredients like pork ribs, pork belly, pork intestine, pork kidney and etc. Rice noodle in Bak Kut Teh soup is also one of the specialty in Sandakan.

Bak Kut Teh at Kedai Kopi Towering Baru is well-known among the locals in Penampang area. The restaurant which is located in Towering, occupying a middle shop facing the roadside, attracted a bunch of patrons everyday who came specially for their superior Bak Kut Teh's broth.

Gaya Street is place where there will never be short of Bak Kut Teh. Kam Kee Bak Kut Teh is a place which served very good Bak Kut Teh in Gaya Street.
