Palsaik Korean BBQ SkyAvenue Genting

This restaurant is one of my favourite places to visit at Resorts World Genting! When enjoying the cool clime of the City in the Clouds, nothing beats having spicy food and good drink at the same time. I especially love it at night, when the place is a little foggy and you can focus on the food and the discussion at your table without breaking a sweat. You really have to visit this place during the day and at night to understand what I am writing about.

I am a big fan of Korean BBQ. My favourite haunts for Korean food are in Little Korea at Ampang, so it was with some level of expectations that I checked out this restaurant, not once but TWICE so far with planned repeat visits in the future. Palsaik has an interesting history, eversince it's opening in South Korea in 2007.

Today, Palsaik Korean BBQ is a franchise, and did you know, it has opened 7 outlets in Malaysia so far! While here, I really got into the vibe of the place. The deco was modern and trendy, flushed with the kind of popular street art you'd expect in a hipster cafe. Ahem, and just so the younger readers among you know, I am old enough to be an original hipster ok.
The people eating at this place was really into the food. It was a lot of great fun and just standing here watching them dig into the food is enough to make your taste buds salivate in anticipation. Aye, I did stand there with a gleam in my eye, or so I was told by my companions. No food coma could keep me away from this place!
Now, I could write a song and wax lyrical about the Korean food if you'd let me, but the pictures speak for themselves. Palsaik serves fresh pork belly meat seasoned eight kinds of special sauces and fresh vegetables. I really enjoyed eating here but if you need to learn more, you can peruse their online menu here.

The service here is fantastic! You need not worry about cooking the meats, for as the usual fashion, someone will attend to your every need during the duration of your stay. Just sit back, relax and enjoy!

This place is an excellent place to just chill with a big group of your family and friends. The prices are really affordable, especially the drinks and they can cater to big or small groups, depending on the sets which you are looking for. If you are ever in SkyAvenue, you should add Palsaik on to your list of places to eat!
