Macau and HK Trip (2nd Trip) - Part 1 (12/02/10- 23/02/10) Chinese New Year Reunion

During the Year of Tiger celebration, mom, dad and I went to Macau again to visit my beloved sister and have a lovely holiday. It was more like a family reunion trip for us as we didn't really travel around much. The weather was very cold and it make us kind of lazy to go out.

Nam Peng

Our first stop after we landed at Macau was Nam Peng Cafe. We had the famous Pork Chop Bun and Club Sandwich there. I love the Club Sandwich at Nam Peng Cafe and it was something I will never miss whenever I'm in Macau.

My sis, ordered the Hot Dog Bun so that we could have a bite on it as well. Nothing special, it was just her preference dish.

I was extremely hungry at that time, before I manage to take photo, half of the Pork Chop Bun had already gone. Luckily my sis manage to snapped a photo using her handphone's camera. The Pork Chop was crispy and flavourful with it own secret recipe taste. Eaten together with the soft bun, it tasted really delicious.

Milk Tea is another must-have for me. Smooth tea with milky taste. Yummy!!

Very nice Chinese New Year decoration were set-up along the street of Macau. It was so beautiful!  The Chinese New Year's ambiance at Macau was really delightful.

This trip was really meaningful to me. When everything in my life seems to be so messed-up, I had my beloved family with me, enjoying a trip to Macau.

The day and night atmosphere in Macau was really nice.

Mom cooked a feast for Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner. It was not the dishes that had made the dinner special but it was the love and warmness from our family's members which had brought us together that made the dinner special.

 Raddish Cake

It is a tradition for Chinese in HK to make some Raddish Cake, Yam Cake and Sweet Glutinous Rice Cake during Chinese New Year. It were to be eaten as breakfast or to serve to the visitors. This year, my sis took the responsibility to make some Raddish Cake and Sweet Glutinous Rice Cake (Nian Gou) for us. Mom was really glad to see her own daughter growing up.
