Sunday Market @ Gaya Street

Gaya Street (Sunday Market) is one of the tourism destinations located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Every Sunday morning, the length of Gaya Street is closed off to traffic to make way for the Fair.

The Gaya Street's Sunday Market is open on every Sunday from 6.30am to 1.00pm. You can shop for anything under the shady trees and over-sized umbrellas. From fruits and flowers, arts and craft, clothes and footwear, antiques and souvenirs to food and herbs, the market seelike a shopping galore. It is the best place to experience the cross-section of the local population when entire families enjoy a Sunday outing.

Apart from that, Chinese New Year's cookies, biscuits and sweet confectionery can also be found in the market.

Both Chinese and Malay's local delicacies are sold in the market.

If you have no idea on where to get the famous Tongkat Ali or some Malay's herbs, it can easily be found in the market.
