We received quite a few good feedback from our blog's viewers about the food at Funky Town. Most of them commented that the food is good, the service is good and the ambiance is good too. In addition, most of them agreed that it is better than Upperstar in every ways.
During our previous visit, the boss had highly recommended us their Lamb Chop, Chicken Chop and Mushroom soup but commented that the Tenderloin we had ordered tasted only so-so(although we think that it was nice too). Since Jack haven't been there yet, we decided to had our dinner there.
100 Plus-RM3.50, Lime Juice-RM4.90 and Lemonade-RM4.90
A note for Beer's Lovers, their Beer is as cheap as Upperstar, only RM18 for two big bottle.
Mushroom Soup & Garlic Bread, RM5.80
The Mushroom Soup was homemade. It was thick and creamy with lots of mushroom chunks. Tasted good and not too salty. Good to go with the Garlic Bread which toasted just right and tasted fragrantly good with garlic flavour.
Lamb Chop, RM12.90
The Lamb Chop was delicious. The meat was tender and well-marinated. The marination sauce was good with the right hint of sweetness and saltiness. However, as according to the boss, the standard of the flavour can be well control but the tenderness of the meat is one that can hardly be control as sometimes they do get some lamb's meats from old lamb.
Fish & Chip, RM11.90
The Fish and Chip taste was just average. Nothing to shout home about.
Grilled Chicken Chop, RM12.90
The Grilled Chicken Chop was great. It was well marinated and evenly grilled till the meat is tender. The creamy sauce had successfully bring out more flavour to the Chicken Chop. Well combination that gave you the 'oomph' factor while eating.
