When mention about Yau Char Kwai, Singaporean like to have it with Soy Bean Drink, Hongkies like to have it with Plain Porridge, West Malaysian like to have it with Kopi-O and Sabahan like to have it with Kaya and Butter. The first time we had it, it was kind of a surprise but it do tasted good.

After our breakfast, while we passed by the shops at Menggatal, Angeline spotted one Yau Char Kwai stall and decided to get some take-away.
Step 1: Cut into half
Step 2: Spread butter
Step 3: Turn Over
Step 4: Spread Kaya
Step 5: Cut
Packing, ready to go
2 pieces Yau Char Kwai with Butter and Kaya spread, RM2.80

I told Angeline that there is a shop which sell pretty cheap groceries especially beer. So, we went there to have a look.

When we saw the cheap snacks at the rack, it was kind of bringing us back to our childhood memory. We used to buy those snack outside our school while waiting for the school bus to arrive. Little do we know that those products are still available in the market.
