This noodle stall is my favourite, every trip I'm here I will order their Loh Mee, I like the thick dark soy soup and yellow noodles. Today dinner was cheap, under RM20, hmmm I paid a total of RM17.80 for food and drinks. I guess the drink are much more expensived then the food, judging by the preparation time and work of food, well that's how they make money, most profitable from drinks.
On my way home, I noticed there're 2 more new hawker stalls open for business further down, right next to the Daging Salai stall. One is selling "Tai Chow" order to cook dishes, the other stall is selling Yong Tau Foo, fried noodles and fried rice. I will try this 2 stalls next trip.
Loh Mee, RM5.00
Ipoh Hor Fun, RM5.00
ABC, RM4.00
KitChai Ping, RM3.80

Today Meditation:

The gift of awareness.
When I found I no longer had the stamina to work long hours clearing the fallen limbs in the woods around my house, I began to bring a lawn chair and a thermos with me. I still work in the woods, but stop frequently to sit and have a cup of tea. I've identified birds I didn't know lived here and evidence that a bobcat shares the property. Since I've slowed down some, I see things I never saw before and find that quiet solitude is not lonely but nurturing, allowing my heart to open to the signs and lessons of nature that surround me.
