It is the second day of Chinese New Year. After being a full day vegetarian, we suddenly craving for a good burger. Instead of going to Kajang for satay, together with Terrence, we went to Bangsar for food hunting. Angeline had always wanted to try The Daily Grind after she saw the review about their burger somewhere in the magazine.
Classic Beef Burger RM23
Since burgers is their specialty, I'm going for the Classic Beef Burger. It was good. The beef patty was thick, well-cooked and juicy. It was topped with mustard, homemade ketchup and pickles. The burger bun was toasted. It was served together with homemade thick fries and salad. The fries was fresh and crispy while the salad was fragrantly good with olive oil, vinegar and garlic flavour.
Terrence ordered the Beef Yodel Burger. He changed the fries to mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Besides the thick beef patty, it was topped with fried mushrooms and creamy sauce. A big bite on the burger and you will taste the crispiness of the mushrooms, the juiciness of the beef patty, the creamy sauce and the toasted burger bun. Sinful but delicious!

Avocado is one of Angeline favourite. So, she goes for the Beef Avocado Bacon Burger. The beef patty was topped with creamy avocado, homemade ketchup, fresh lettuces and bacon. It was flavourful. A good combination of ingredients. Love it!
Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, RM7
There is always a room for dessert. After the burger, we couldn't resisted ourselves from ordering their Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. To spread out the calories, we just shared a single scoop of ice cream. It was good. Creamy and smooth with a strong vanilla flavour.
