Tai Chow @ Citymall

During my childhood, my mum always like to ordered Wat Tan Yin Yong whenever we eat Tai Chow. However, being rebellion, I will just eat the hor fun and skipped the meehoon. For your information, Wat Tan Yin Yong is actually a combination of meehoon (rice noodle) and hor fun (flat rice noodle) cooked with egg sauce. The meehoon had been deep fried while the hor fun had been fried with light soya sauce. The egg sauce was being cooked separately and poured into the noodle before it was served. The noodle will be fragrantly good and delicious. Now that I'm in KK, Wat Tan Yin Yong can hardly been found in KK but Wat Tan Hor seems to be a popular dish at most of the Tai Chow's restaurant.

After my evening class, I was left alone to go for dinner as Angeline was sick and Jack was busy with his work. Whenever I'm alone, I always like to eat Wat Tan Hor. It always reminded me of my childhood. I went to the restaurant which is located next to Celyn Hotel and ordered a Wat Tan Hor.

The Wat Tan Hor cost RM5. It was cooked with chicken slices, pork slices and pork rolls. Nothing to write home about. The hor fun was quite smooth and the egg sauce was thick.

Today Meditation

An accurate definition of the self is impossible. You are more than you realize, more than you can define. And the more time you spend trying to nail down the definition, the less time you spend living right now. . . Your past is not your identity. . .You, living now, is your identity.
