It have been quite some times since we blogged about Dim Sum. New Wong Kwok Restaurant is also one of the favourite Dim Sum place for most locals here. However, I don't find that the food is very good  based on my previous experience.

We decided to check out the place again and make a new review about the food. We went there around 11am and it was still quite crowded with some tourists around.


Brunch, Total Bill: RM42.55 (3 person)

Steamed Pork Rib
The Steamed Pork Rib was so-so only. Laden with fats. We didn't finished it.

Prawn Dumpling
Tasted average. The prawn is fresh but the dumpling skin is quite thick.

Char-siew Steamed Bun
Tasted average. I'm running out of words to describe the food that is not so outstanding.

Overall, the food was just average. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is comfortable.

Possibly the best yum cha place in town with reasonable price and air-conditioned. Dim sum is steamed when ordered. Ala carte lunch menu is also available. I would avoid the expensive seafood dim sum such as scallop dumpling and would go during weekdays for lunch instead of fighting with the weekend crowd. Group travellers are common scene but normally just occupied 2 to 3 big tables and they seem polite and not loud.

YOYO CAFE @ Damai, Centrepoint and Lintas

Yoyo Cafe is one of the best bubble tea chains cafe in KK. They have three branches which is located at Damai, Centrepoint and Lintas respectively. I love their Pearl Jelly Honey drink and their Red Bean Ice Blended while Jack love their Peppermint Milk Tea and Almond Milk Tea.
