New Man Tai @ Gaya Street

Tonight I'm going back to my favourite restaurant to have dinner, nearest, downtown. I'll never get fed up eating the same thing everyday but because of the food blog I have to search for different place for dinner every nihgt, don't get me wrong I enjoy doing that but sometime you just want to relax a bit not thinking and stop the searching game for a while. I think it's because I am down with sinusitis now, not feeling well cause by the hot weather, 34 degree celcius today, 2 days ago it was 38 degree celcius, body arching, mind blank, no energy to search......sorry

PREVIOUS VISIT 13 OCTOBER 2009 (DINNER)

Looking for nice Asam Fish Head? Restaurant New Man Tai is my favourite place for Asam Fish Head. It is located at the same row of shops with Bella Italia. If you have been there before, you will noticed that they serves almost the same dishes as Restaurant Beaufort and Restaurant Yu Hing but all of them had their own specialties.

Just to satisfied our taste buds, we ordered some of the most popular dishes at Restaurant New Man Tai. The prices of their dishes is almost the same as Restaurant Beaufort which is quite reasonable. Close at 9:00pm and off on Wednesday.
Asam Fish Head and Braised Pork Nuckles (this taste good)
Stir-fried Choy Sum with Char Siew

Seaweed Pork Soup and Char Siew Omelette
Beaufort Noodles (tasted a little bit too salty, still prefer Yu Hing or Beaufort)
