Contributed by Norbert G Kimlon: MASARAP Filipino Cuisine @ Lintas Square

The style of cooking and the foods associated with the Philippine cuisine have evolved over several centuries from its Austronesian origins to a mixed cuisine with Spanish, Mexican, European, American, Chinese, Indochinese, and other Asian influences adapted to indigenous ingredients and the local palate. Being a Malaysian who used to explored with a variety of cuisines, Philippine cuisine seems to be close to similar with the Chinese cuisine.
