Pastis, The Gardens Mid Valley
Pastis is located at the ground floor at The Gardens Mid Valley.
Not too long ago, i decided to give this place a try. Obviously my expectations were not that high but at the same time, i was also giving it a benefit of the doubt.
We ordered the "Avocado Crabmeat Salad RM24.50 and Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Prawns, Chicken and Ham RM21.90"

The avocado crabmeat salad came with half and avocado topped with crabmeat and cheese with green sald. Taste wise, it was a bit to bland to my liking and found that after more than 6-7 mouthful, you tend to get a bit "jelak" with it.
I probably would not return for this as i think it is overly priced and secondly even if its priced at that, it doesnt justify for it. It lacks the oomph or kick in a crab meat salad.
The spaghetti on the othe hand came in the right portion and taste wise, it was reasonably good. The pasta was al dente and flavour wise, it hit the right tones. A good blend of saltiness and spicyness.
Overall my dining experience here was pleasant but nothing to rant about. However, i know i wont be returning anytime soon.
