On this busy weekend, Eleanor, my ex-schoolmate from KL who are going to leave KK on this coming Monday, asked me out for dinner. Together with her hubby, who was here to travel, and her god sister from UMS, we went to Welcome Seafood Restaurant for dinner. Although she had been here for half year, she had yet to try the seafood here except for once at Kampung Air which she had been complaining about the food standard. For most locals here, when mentioned about seafood with reasonable price and fair standard, Welcome Seafood Restaurant will first comes to our minds.

Prawns (Boiled)
It was only around 7.30pm and some of the 'hot-pick' seafood already unavailable. Cluelessly, I asked the waitress to suggest some dishes. I wanted 'Pak Cheuk Har' and she suggested to use 'grass prawns' and I agreed. It tasted fresh and sweet.
Fried Crabs with Salted Egg Yolk
Recommended by the waitress, the Fried Crabs with Salted Egg Yolk tasted not bad. However, they are out of crabs, so, we had to take the 'flower crabs'. The meat was sweet but it was a little watery.
Kung Pao Geoduck
This is more well-known as Elephant Trunk Clam. Rarely can find this in KL. It tasted a little chewy but good to go with Kung Pao style.
Sabah Local Vegetables
We can never find this in KL. That's why we love it and of course it tasted good too.
Total paid for dinner = RM111++
Thanks Eleanor and Kevin for the scrumptious dinner!! See you guys soon in KL!
