Gunter's Gasthaus @ Jalan Tuaran

Every time I passed by Jalan Tuaran, I saw the signboard of Gunter's Gasthaus Restaurant somewhere by the road side. I'm always curious about the dishes they serves and asked Jack about it. Jack told me it is a home-style german's restaurant. They used to charge a flat rate, for eat all you can on their day's special. But nowadays, during the promotion period which is 11.30am to 2.00pm(lunch) and 6.30pm to 8.00pm (dinner), you can order 3 dishes from a menu per person and only pay for the most expensive dish you've ordered.

We missed out the promotion period when we reached but it didn't stopped us from dining there. Accidentally, we bumped into Danny and Christine, so, we joined together for dinner.

Chicken Cordon Bleu RM25.99 (add another RM5.99 for set that comes with mushroom soup, drink and dessert)


The chicken is coated with eggs and pan-fried.It is so delicious to eat together with the sauces and go well with the butter rice(comes with it) too. Good combination.

Roti Canai Pizza RM16.99


This is special and tasted good too. Instead of using pizza dough, they used the local roti chanai with topping of mushrooms, sausages, onions and cheese.

Grab the chance to take photo of danny's order but he forgot what the name of the dish, sausages with rice, anyway, the sauces tasted good (curry flavour with strong tomato tastes)


P/S: Their salads is free!!

the promotion for gunter gasthaus is absolutely rm8.88 and there are few dishes that you can select and eat as much as you can with free salads.ms monica i ma shocked to hear that you are forced to eat what the chef has cooked for the day.there is no truth in this message,kindly cal mrs gunter @016 8310787

"forced" is such a strong word, as every food served there are delectable to the pallet. Nonetheless, "no right" on our part was also a strong word, note that "was" means that we've edited that post.

YOYO CAFE @ Damai, Centrepoint and Lintas

Yoyo Cafe is one of the best bubble tea chains cafe in KK. They have three branches which is located at Damai, Centrepoint and Lintas respectively. I love their Pearl Jelly Honey drink and their Red Bean Ice Blended while Jack love their Peppermint Milk Tea and Almond Milk Tea.
