Wat Rajamontean: A Sacred Temple in Chiang Mai Located in the charming city of Chiang Mai in Thailand, Wat Rajamontean is a sacred temple that offers a serene and spiritual experience for visitors





Wat Chedi Luang - Near the old city center, close to the Ping River. This temple features a massive chedi (stupa) that was partially destroyed by an earthquake in the 16th century. It’s one of the most iconic landmarks in Chiang Mai.

Wat Phra Singh - Located in the old city, not far from the river. Known for its exquisite Lanna architecture and the revered Phra Singh Buddha image. The temple complex is beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful atmosphere.

Wat Chiang Man - Situated in the old city, close to the Ping River. This is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai, built by King Mengrai, the founder of the city. It houses two important Buddha images: the Phra Sila and the Phra Satang Man.


Wat Lok Moli - Just north of the old city, near the Ping River. This temple is known for its impressive wooden viharn (assembly hall) and a large chedi that dates back to the 14th century.






Wat Gatekaram - Located near the Ping River, in the Wat Ket area. This temple is known for its unique blend of Lanna and Burmese architectural styles. The area around Wat Gatekaram is also known for its charming streets and local markets.

Wat Ket Karam - Situated on the east bank of the Ping River. This temple is known for its museum, which houses a collection of antiques and artifacts. The temple itself has a mix of Lanna and European architectural influences.

Wat Buppharam - Located near the Ping River, in the old city. This temple is known for its colorful and intricate Lanna-style architecture. It’s a smaller temple but offers a serene environment for visitors.

Wat Chai Mongkol - Situated on the east bank of the Ping River. This temple is known for its large, white chedi and peaceful surroundings. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the riverside views.

Wat Sri Suphan (Silver Temple) - Located in the old city, not far from the river. This temple is unique because it is entirely covered in silver and aluminum. It’s a stunning example of Lanna craftsmanship.

Wat Inthakhin Sadue Muang - Located in the old city, near the Ping River. This small temple is known for its historical significance and the city pillar (Lak Mueang) housed within its grounds.
