Kedai Kopi Luyang @ Foh San

Pan Mee is a Hakka-style noodle, originating from Malaysia. Its Chinese name literally translated to flat flour noodle. Pan Mee is typically served in anchovy's broth, with fried anchovies, minced pork, mushroom, and sweet potato leaves.

Usually, the dough is made from flour and water, sometimes with egg for some extra flavour. The dough is kneaded using machine into a variety of shape, common shape being flat strips noodle. However, the traditional way, where the dough is torn into small pieces, is the best way to eat the Pan Mee. The smooth and chewy texture of the noodle just goes well with the soup and its condiments. Simply amusing!
