Restaurant Hilltop 21Aug10 Dinner
RESTAURANT HILLTOP
Hilltop.
Hilltop.
We always love to dine in at this restaurant due to its varieties and their food specialties. How could we miss this chance to bring our HK friends here to taste out the local food. Everyone was already hungry by the time we got there and luckily the food waiting time was not too long.
Fried Meehoon in Fish Sauce - their signature meehoon. You have an option of spicy or not. If spicy, they will add in chilli padi.
Fried Mee in Fish Sauce
Same version as the meehoon. It's just that this is the thin type of mee. Though cooked in the same way - fish sauce, taste was different. It has its own specialty.

Dry "Nai You" (egg and milk) Prawn
The egg and milk was fried into crispy but was bit too salty to my liking that day. The prawns were fresh and big.

Always a hit also for this restaurant. Good combination of fish slices and vegetables like tomatoes, lady fingers and onions.
Grill Cuttlefish
Cuttlefish was grilled into perfection. With some curry powder, it was so yummy... :)

Fried Eggplant in Ham Heong Flavour
A new dish and we never try before. To our surprise, it was good. Though the egg plant was fried with oil, it was not oily. It was flavourful with the kam heong taste.
Was a satisfactory dinner for all. Everyone just love the local taste by the local restaurant that is visited by local KK people.
