Few years back, during my first visit to KK, my sis brought me to Wan Wan as she said that it is one of the best Fish Noodle's place in KK. I was amused by the taste of the food and it was my first time having Yu Chap (Mixed Fish). More over, I fall in love with the Kolo Mee at Wan Wan, it had become my favourite food.
However, few years later, after a few visits(before we started blogging), we found that the tastes of the Yu Chap had deteriorated. It was not as good as it used to be. Hence, we stopped going there.
Today, I'm going to give it another try again.

Yu Chap with Kolo Mee RM12
Yu Chap
The reason I like Wan Wan is because they serve Yu Chap which included fish skins. I ordered the Yu Chap with fish fillets, fish skins and fish cakes. The fish skins is smooth and soft while the fish fillets tasted fresh. The soup although tasted flavourful, it had a strong fishy smell which Jack and I don't really like. Anyway, it wasn't as bad as I remembered.
Kolo Mee
As for the Kolo Mee, it is still my favourite. The noodle was springy and tasted good. The minced chicken, spring onions and fried onions was a good combination to the noodle. Yummy!
Tom Yam Fish Fillet RM6.00
Compared to the Yu Chap Soup, the Tom Yam doesn't really had a strong fishy smell. It tasted not bad. The spices taste was mild and it wasn't too sourish nor too spicy. The fish fillet was fresh and the texture of the meat was firm.
Still, if you ask me now, I will prefer the Yu Chap at Sin Houng Kee. It is my personal preferences.
